As part of our commitment to the community and our furry friends, we’re excited to introduce Fritz’s Furry Friends, a monthly initiative where our mascot, Fritz the Frog, will showcase a special pet up for adoption.

MEET FLIK

Meet Flik: Your Future Best Friend

Flik is a vibrant, 2-year-old chocolate-and-white Pit Bull mix who is ready to trade shelter life for a forever home. Having spent over 100 days at the Lexington Humane Society, this "very good boy" has become a long-term resident favorite, but he is more than ready to find a permanent place to call his own. Flik is a polite, adventurous soul who recently charmed everyone during a volunteer outing—starting with a Starbucks pup cup and ending with a well-deserved nap!

Why You’ll Love Flik:

- Social Butterfly: He greets everyone with a wagging tail or a polite sit at their feet. He was even incredibly gentle when meeting a young child.

- Adventure Ready: He is a total pro in the car, enjoys exploring dog-friendly stores like Cabela’s, and walks beautifully on a leash.

- Affectionate: While he likes squeaky toys, he clearly prefers human attention and snuggles above everything else.

- Adaptable: He is rated as a great fit for apartment living and does well with children of all ages.

How Fritz's Furry Friends Works:

Each month, Fritz will introduce a deserving pet from the Lexington Humane Society. For each pet that’s featured and led to an adoption, GreenBox will cover the adoption fee of all featured animals. By highlighting these animals, we hope to raise awareness about pet adoption and encourage families to consider adopting a furry friend.
